We invite you to spend your holidays in a typical northern log cabin nestled in the heart of the pristine Yukon wilderness.

Location:
Our log cabin is located  in absolute remoteness without direct neighbourhood approx. 4 km/2.5 miles outside of Carmacks and approx. 200 km/125 miles north of Whitehorse. Carmacks Wooden sign with logo Canadian Wilderness Travel Ltd.is a small community of 400 inhabitants, providing a grocery store, gas station, restaurant, post office and a small swimming pool. Early fall coloursHiking and biking trails are leading directly into the surrounding Wildflower medleymountainous wilderness. The nearby Yukon River is inviting you to catch a fish, canoe downstream ore just to  relax while sitting at the shore and being caught by the steady and silent current of the  River.Ready for a day trip on the Yukon River

Rose Hip fall coloursWithin a day trip you can reach Dawson City, the legendary capital of the 1898 Gold Rush or the Dempster Highway, gate to northern tundra. Keno City, an abandoned "Ghost Town" founded during the Silver Rush of 1911, is an other option worth to be explored. Numerous nearby lakes are challenging to be canoed or to cast your fishing line.

Furnishing:
Our in 2005 newly build log cabin offers 55sq m/590 sq ft accommodating up to 4 persons, sleeping 2  in spacious loft and 2 in the living room. The cozy furnished living room has a wood stove, the integrated kitchen is fully equipped and the bathroom has shower and running warm water.

    We reserve the right to stay in hotels other as described in the itinerary. We also reserve the right to conduct the itinerary in opposite direction or change parts of the tour description if necessary due to circumstances that are beyond the control of Canadian Wilderness Travel Ltd. All changes will be replaced by same or better options.

    We strongly recommend you to purchase proper insurance coverage at the time of booking. Your policy should cover at least trip cancellation, injury, illness, travel accident, emergency medical and search & rescue.

    You will be required to sign a " Release of claims and waiver of liability" prior to departure of this tour.
